The Check

Went out for a fancy breakfast with my clients and colleagues.
Check came at the end of the meal, as it always does. Everyone who were having a laugh while eating just a few minutes ago...were now puzzled, quizzed..

Never liked the check at the end of the meal system, because money's a very different thing before and after you eat. Before you eat money has no or very little value. And you don't care about money when you're hungry, you sit down at a
restaurant, feeling all majestic cos you know, whatever you order, is gonna be served on a plate for you.

After the meal, the napkins are destroyed, tables a mess(ok ok,in my case la!), you got your chair back, legs outstrectched - then the check comes at that moment.

People are always mystified by the check.

"What is this? How could this be?"
You start passing it around the table and..
"Does this look right to you? We're not hungry now. Why are we buying all this food"

2 words. Buffet.A Happy Meal. (ok,3words)

you know ive always wondered why pple order so much food when they noe they cant finish it...

seriously...wasting food is NOT GD.
(or as someone "wise" once told me at shakunthalas...neither is playing with food).

the pt of the matter is ...they order and order like there is no 2ml..and den go like errr....im full. (wat the diggady doo???)

CMI.Period.

instead why not think b4 u order..
ok i feel like having a variety. mebbe getting it in smaller amounts? or we eat some first and if we are still hungry den get some more...

FYI - most buffets are a bloody waste of food. everyone pays to waste food in buffets. they get excited by all the free flow of food...take too much and then sit down wondering why they took that weird greenish looking pasta or that purple pastry with silver sugar balls.

if u ask me - 1 teh tarik and egg prata for me pls! jussssst nyce.
or appam! weow! okok....i digress.

Yes. Playing with Food is never good.

I think the Buffet Concept is a big rip Off.

It's Easy BUT still a rip off.
Consumers pay way too much, Food gets wasted all the time.

1 Teh-Tarik and 2 Kosong bawang for me!(with compulsory dalcha of course)
