Parents

Parents make the best employers.
Because no matter how bad a job you do, they stick with you.

I remember that I used to sweep & mop the floor on the weekends for $1.
But I used to cheat, sometimes I won't even sweep. I would like throw some water around the house when my mum was coming back, and tell her that I just finished sweeping and just finished mopping about 5 mins ago.

And there was nothing she could do. She has to give me that $1.
Cos they are parents.

The could'nt go,

"Listen , son you're not really cleaning the house. Now,I know you have been in the family for 10 years now, but i'm afraid we're going to let you go. Don't feel too bad about it. We are making cutbacks all over the house.

Even the dog's only coming in 3 days a week "

The Fool

When i was a kid,My favourite ride was the bumper car. What a wonderful fantasy of the driving experience it could be.

You don't need a license. All confrontation, no destination.Thats what they are.
Driving it was an act of pure hostility.
It was like being in an ancient battle, instead of horses there are bumper cars.

But's there's always one kid on the bumper cars that couldn't do it. As soon as the ride got started, he'd be like stuck in a pack of empty cars, waving his hands...and usually ending up with the attendant hanging off that big pole, helping him steer.

And we all keep clear of him.

This happens in life. There's always someone who doesn't do it right.
Remember the clown in your primary school who can't tuck in his shirt properly in his pants.
The goofy moron in your BMT who's always saboataging the whole platoon.
The clown in your office who always gets picked on.
Sometimes you go to a club and you see an idiot who makes a complete fool of himself.

I think its GOD's way of telling you,

"Hey, I know it's aint rosy rite now. BUT look on the bright side, you don't wanna be that fool"

And we move on.

Being a Baby

I recently had to go to a naming ceremony of a baby which is a kind of a milestone celebration in my culture.

Everyone gets excited about a baby. Except the baby. It's no fun being the baby.

"Did you see the baby"
"Orhh, the baby is sooo cute"
"He has his fathers eyes"

But the baby doesn't get this.They don't know they 're going to grow up.They 're born , they look down , they must think ;

"Well, this is it. This is the body I've got. Tiny hand, giant head, bad plumbing
"Where am i going to find a tie 3 inches long?

And at 6 months or so, they put you in charge of complicated toys you have no idea how to operate

And everyone comes to you and say something nice. There's always no sadness or melancholy around the baby.

Wait till they grow up.

An evey meal is a mystery. They sit you down, put the bib on you, you think...

"Alright, Fish & Chips"

And you don't get it.
